- Saurashtra's Jaydev Unadkat grabbed six wickets against Tamil Nadu. But Cheteshwar Pujara bagged a duck as Saurashtra collapsed to 16 for 5
- There's an injury cloud over Karnataka quick Prasidh Krishna after he sat out the entire day's play in Indore against MP. It remains to be seen if he will join the India squad as a traveling reserve for the NZ Tests
- Ahead of Sai Sudharsan in the race for reserve opener's slot for the Australia tour (going by recent form), Abhimanyu Easwaran scored an unbeaten 78 against UP to follow his recent scores of 191, 116, 19 and 157*

- Mumbai will have to chase a target of over 200 on a tricky pitch against Baroda. Tanush Kotian's four-for reduced Baroda to 41 for 6 earlier before captain Krunal Pandya powered the lead past 200
- After no play in Indore yesterday (wet outfield), MP captain Shubham Sharma has smashed a century against Karnataka and taken the team to 425 for 8, with just four sessions left in the game. Will they declare now?
- Prasidh Krishna hasn't taken the field at all today. It's most likely an injury or niggle in an already injury-plagued career. We'll have to wait till stumps to find out what exactly it is and if he can join the India squad as a reserve for the NZ Tests
- Bengal first reduced UP from 205 for 3 to 292 all out and have now powered to 90 for 0, thanks to Easwaran and first-innings centurion Sudip Chatterjee. They lead by 109
- Saurashtra are in deep, deep trouble. They're 35 for 5 - Pujara gone for a duck - and staring at an innings defeat

- Baroda collapsed from 16 for 0 to 41 for 6, thanks to more wickets from Tanush Kotian (3 for 24). Baroda still lead by a solid 151 runs against Mumbai
- There's finally some action between MP and Karnataka after no play in Indore yesterday, only because of a wet outfield (Greater Noida and Kanpur say 'Hi'). The major news from there is Prasidh Krishna seems to be injured as he didn't take the field today. Vijaykumar Vyshak and V Koushik bowled their hearts out with morning spells of 10-2-26-1 and 11-3-20-1 respectively. MP are 313 for 6
- Tamil Nadu also slipped, although not as badly as Baroda. Jaydev Unadkat started the slide and has finished with 6 for 61 to keep TN to 367, with a lead of 164 at lunch
- Bengal's senior bowlers Mukesh Kumar and Shahbaz Ahmed stepped on the gas to trouble UP, reducing them from 205 for 3 to 292 all out, to snatch a slim lead of 19 runs. Four wickets apiece for those two bowlers
- Ruturaj Gaikwad has scored a half-century for Maharashtra in reply to J&K's mammoth 519
- Gujarat took a first-innings lead of 95 runs against Hyderabad, with three wickets for Nagwaswalla
- Vidarbha are marching along against Andhra after a century from Atharva Taide and Karun Nair's 43. They're 318 for 6, leading by 269
